This week’s list of things to do focuses on the many festivals and a race taking place in Grand Rapids this weekend.

Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church will be the location of the Grand Rapids Greek Festival Friday through Sunday. The festival will feature live music, dancing demonstrations, cooking classes and wine tasting. There will also be a variety of authentic greek food available. Rosa Parks Circle will be the sight of the annual Polish Festival from Friday through Sunday. There will be a wide variety of authentic Polish food as well as beer and other refreshments available for purchase. The event is free and open to the public. Calder Plaza will be the sight of the Hispanic Festival Friday through Sunday. The festival will feature a wide selection of authentic Hispanic food and music and entertainment. The Reeds Lake SUP (Stand Up Paddle) race will be held at Reeds Lake in East Grand Rapids at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The event will feature a 5K and 10K stand up paddle race around the the lake. The event can be viewed from the walking path that surrounds part of the lake. The event is free and open to the public.
